Welcome to the Town of Morris, Building Inspection and By-law Compliance office web page.  The Provincial government has mandated that every municipality must enforce the Manitoba Building Code to ensure that all buildings are constructed in a manner that ensures the safety of the occupants. To carry out that responsibility, the Town of Morris, and the Rural Municipality of Morris have each adopted a by-law to administer and enforce the Building Code. To provide an economical building inspection service to effectively administer the code, each will share the same building inspector. This office is also responsible for building inspections and by-law compliance for the Municipalities of Ritchot and Roland. >We provide plan review, permitting and inspection services for new construction, additions and remodels  to assure all structures meet or exceed the minimum life safety standards of the codes adopted by the Town and Municipalities.
