Creative Movement 3 & 4 years

This program is designed to introduce your child to music and basic movements to develop a sence of

rhythm, coordination, and motor skills. This class will also provide a learning and listening enviroment for your child.

Red River Valley Parent Child Center

The Morris Parent - Child Center focuses on parenting, nutrition, literacy, fitness and building

community capacity. Being a parent is one of our most important jobs where one can always

learn more. We support parent groups, referral services, parent-child activities, as well as

lending libraries. Healthy activities and food are part of what makes healthy children, families

and communities. Our 'Family in Training' and 'Families in the Kitchen' program is an example

of a healthy lifestyle project our center has provided.

Morris Stay & Play - This is a drop in program for parents and their child 0 - 5 years.

Come for coffee, crafts, stories, and parent-child circle time. FREE

Wednesday mornings 9am - 11am

 

Growing with Mom - This program is for mothers who are expecting or have a baby

one year or younger. Childcare is provided for older children. FREE

Third Thursday of every month 9:15am - 11:15am

 

Wiggles Giggles & Munch - An upcoming program focusing on pre-school fitness,

fun and good nutrition. The dates and times for this program have not been determined

yet, but if you are interested and would like to sign up please contact Cheryl. She will

send information to those who sign up.

If any of these programs interest you please contact Cheryl, if there is enough interest the

programs will be offered.

 

Volunteer Committments - All these programs are FREE, however, all parents are

required to help the Centre with volunteer duties at least once a month.
