Mission
The Morris
Area Recreation Commission serves to enhance and strengthen existing
recreation opportunities as well as encourage the development of new
opportunities to individuals and groups.
We will
work to promote the positive contribution that recreation and leisure
makes to the enrichment of lives and the strengthening of communities.
We will
strive to fulfill the community's needs in the areas of; Programming,
Leadership Development, Volunteer Development, Community Resources,
Public Education, Public Awareness and Facility Development.

Recreation Programs
The Morris Recreation Commission strives to offer program opportunities for all ages.
For more information on programs available in the Community, click the following links.
How
to Register for Recreation Programs (not including Pool):
1.
Find the Program you would like to register for
2.
If there is a name and contact number, please contact them to register
as they are an outside program.
3.
If the program does not have a name and number attached and it is for
children under the age of 18 years, please download a registration form
and submit with payment to the recreation office. Payment is required
BEFORE the program begins.
4.
If the program is for adults, 18 years +, you just need to call the
Rec Office to put your name on the list. Payment is required the day
of the program.
5.
Payment can be made by Cash or Check payable "TOWN OF MORRIS"
only.

How
to Register for Swimming Lessons:
1.
Come to the Recreation Office located on the main floor of the Morris
Arena.
2.
If you cannot come in person, you may register by call the office at
746-6622. Registration can be done over the phone. You will have 1 week
after date of registration to mail or drop off payment to reserve your
space. After 1 week, you will lose your space and will not be rescheduled
by the office.
3.
Payment can be made by Cash or Check payable "TOWN OF MORRIS"
only.
